You will be a key member of the investment team, working closely with a Portfolio Manager to generate high-conviction investment ideas and provide fundamental research coverage across the Consumer and Technology sectors.

In this role, you will take ownership of company analysis from end to end, building financial models, forming differentiated investment views, and contributing directly to portfolio decisions. You will gain direct exposure to the investment process while developing a deep understanding of long-term equity investing

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct deep fundamental research on listed companies within consumer and technology sectors
2. Build and maintain detailed financial models (3-statement models, DCF, scenario analysis)
3. Analyze industry trends, competitive positioning, and secular growth drivers
4. Monitor portfolio holdings and develop investment theses with clear catalysts and risks
5. Generate high-conviction investment ideas aligned with long-term portfolio strategy
6. Assist Portfolio Manager with portfolio construction, sizing, and risk assessment
7. Track portfolio performance and attribution analysis
8. Prepare investment memos and ongoing updates on holdings
9. Monitor earnings releases, news flow, and market developments
10. Stay up to date on macro trends impacting consumer and technology sectors

Qualifications:

1. 3-5 years of fundamental bottom up equity research experience
2. Prior coverage of consumer or technology sectors preferred
3. Strong financial modeling, valuation, and sector expertise
4. Ability to synthesize complex information into clear investment insights
5. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
6. High level of intellectual curiosity and independent thinking
7. Strong attention to detail with ability to work in a lean team environment
8. Strong communication and presentation skills
9. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Mandarin/Cantonese
10. Ability to synthesize complex information into clear investment insights
