A well-established bank is looking for an experienced AVP, focusing on FXMM & Debt Securities Trade Support to support the bank's Treasury and Global Markets.

Your new role

• 
  Responsible for providing end-to-end trade support and operational control for Foreign Exchange (FX), Money Market (MM), Fixed Income, and Debt Securities products, with close interaction with Front Office, Middle Office, Settlement, Finance, Risk Management, and external counterparties to ensure accurate trade processing, effective risk mitigation, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  Provide daily trade support for FX Spot, Forward, Swap, NDF, Money Market, Deposits, Fixed Income, Bonds, Repo, and Debt Securities products.
  
• 
  Manage daily operations using Calypso, Murex, and TCL systems.
  
• 
  Monitor trade lifecycle events, including amendments, cancellations, maturities, coupon payments, and corporate actions.
  
• 
  Act as a key contact point between Front Office, Middle Office, Finance, Compliance, Technology, Custody, and Settlement teams.
  
• 
  Investigate and resolve trade discrepancies, booking issues, and settlement exceptions on a timely basis.
  
• 
  Perform daily reconciliations between trading systems, settlement platforms, custodians, and counterparties.
  
• 
  Monitor trade confirmations and ensure timely matching and affirmation of transactions.
  
• 
  Liaise with counterparties, brokers, custodians, and agent banks regarding trade-related issues.
  
• 
  Coordinate settlement activities and resolve failed trades and settlement breaks.
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with market deadlines and settlement cut-off times.
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• 
  University degree holder, preferably in Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
  
• 
  Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Treasury Operations, Trade Support, Middle Office, or Markets Operations within banking or financial institutions.
  
• 
  Solid understanding of trade lifecycle, confirmations, settlements, reconciliations, and market conventions.
  
• 
  Strong product knowledge of treasury and markets products and associated operational processes, with the ability to lead a team to deliver high-quality operational services.
  
• 
  Knowledge of Bloomberg, Reuters, Murex, Kondor+, Summit, Calypso, or other treasury systems is advantageous.
  
• 
  Proven experience in process improvement, SOP design, and workflow standardization, with a continuous improvement mindset
  
• 
  Hands-on experience in system implementation, migration, UAT testing, and automation initiatives, with ability to drive operational efficiency and scalability
  
• 
  Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
