Key Responsibilities

Manage and support enterprise compute and storage platforms to ensure high availability and performance.
Administer virtualisation environments and underlying infrastructure.
Perform capacity planning, performance monitoring, and system optimisation.
Implement infrastructure upgrades, patches, and technology refresh initiatives.
Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and coordinate resolution with internal and external teams.
Participate in infrastructure design, testing, and deployment activities.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and standards.
Support security, risk, and compliance requirements across infrastructure platforms.
Participate in on-call support and scheduled maintenance activities when required.

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
5+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure administration and support.
Solid experience with enterprise server platforms, virtualisation technologies, and storage systems.
Good understanding of Windows and/or Linux server environments.
Experience with backup, monitoring, and infrastructure management tools.
Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and load balancing concepts.
Exposure to cloud services and hybrid infrastructure environments is advantageous.
Familiarity with infrastructure automation and scripting is a plus.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Experience

Virtualisation platforms (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, or similar).
Enterprise storage technologies (SAN, NAS, Object Storage).
Public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Infrastructure-as-Code and automation tools.
High-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
