Market Data & IT Infrastructure Specialist

This role involves providing regional support for Market Data systems across Asia Pacific, including daily system monitoring, issue resolution, capacity planning, and executing ad-hoc tasks and projects assigned by Infrastructure and Project Management teams. You will support various Market Data platforms such as RMDS/TREP, Bloomberg, Infocast, and Workspace, ensuring timely and accurate outage reporting to stakeholders. The role also requires managing upgrades, liaising with vendors, and handling incident, problem, and change management processes, all while maintaining infrastructure resilience and compliance with technical standards. This is a key position for maintaining operational stability and supporting our clients' market data needs.

Role Overview:
This position provides essential regional support for our company's Market Data infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of various systems across the Asia Pacific region. You will be integral to maintaining reliable data services, managing technical issues, and driving improvements within the team's operational procedures.

Key Skills & Experience:
• Proven experience in complex IT infrastructure environments, with at least 5 years in Market Data or dealing room environments
• Strong knowledge of technical skills including TREP/RTDS, Workspace & Messenger, Bloomberg, and related products (advanced or intermediate)
• Familiarity with Zabbix, RHEL 8.x, network fundamentals, and scripting (intermediate level)
• Experience with incident, problem, and change management processes
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure within a multicultural setting
• Knowledge of financial markets, including FX, Fixed Income, and Equities

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide first, second, and third-level support for Market Data systems across Asia Pacific
• Monitor systems daily and ensure accurate reporting of outages
• Manage system upgrades, testing, and liaise with vendors on technical matters
• Handle incident, problem, and change management processes and escalate issues as needed
• Maintain infrastructure capacity, resiliency, and operational procedures
• Perform testing, validation, and deployment of infrastructure and products
• Conduct daily health checks and distribute vendor/ exchange notifications
• Track and manage vendor incidents and represent the team during incident troubleshooting
• Manage assigned projects end-to-end, designing solutions aligned with business needs
• Continuously improve documentation and operational standards

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with complex IT infrastructure and Market Data environments
• Experience across multiple geographies and cultures
• Technical proficiency in TREP/RTDS, Bloomberg, Workspace, API, RFA, DACS, B-PIPE, Zabbix, RHEL, and networking fundamentals
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and documentation skills
• Strong understanding of financial markets and risk management procedures
• Right to work in the specified region
