A well-established global investment firm is seeking an Operations Manager to join its Hong Kong platform. This role offers broad exposure across middle-office, risk management, and regulatory functions within an institutional investment environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee core fund operations, including trade booking, reconciliation, settlement, P&L reporting, and NAV oversight
2. Produce and enhance risk reporting, including portfolio analytics, VaR, scenario analysis, and limit monitoring
3. Support regulatory and compliance reporting requirements
4. Partner with investment and technology teams to strengthen risk controls and operational processes
5. Contribute to workflow optimisation and system enhancements

Candidate Profile

1. Fluency in English and Mandarin and/or Cantonese is essential
2. Up to 10 years’ relevant experience
3. Background in buy-side, sell-side, fund administration, or audit environments welcomed
4. Strong understanding of fund operations and the trade lifecycle
5. Experience with portfolio management and risk systems
6. Programming capability (e.g. Python) beneficial
