Our client, a leading insurance organization, is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a strategic Compensation System Revamp initiative. This role will support the transformation of compensation and commission management processes while partnering closely with agency business stakeholders, operations teams, and technology teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for a BA who enjoys working across both business and technology functions, with exposure to both customer-facing (front-end) and operational/system (back-end) components.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for compensation and commission-related initiatives.
• Work closely with Agency, Operations, Finance, and Technology stakeholders to understand current processes and define future-state solutions.
• Support the revamp of the compensation platform and related agency components.
• Conduct requirement workshops, process mapping, gap analysis, and impact assessments.
• Prepare business requirements, user stories, functional specifications, and process flow documentation.
• Collaborate with development teams throughout the project lifecycle and support solution design discussions.
• Coordinate SIT, UAT, and production rollout activities.
• Manage project stakeholders and facilitate discussions between business and technical teams.
• Ensure solutions align with business objectives, operational requirements, and project timelines.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Business Analyst experience within Insurance or Banking environments.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and business process analysis.
• Experience supporting both front-end and back-end systems (approximately 50% business-facing / 50% operational or system-focused initiatives).
• Experience with database tools for migration and integrations such as SQL and Alteryx.
• Exposure to compensation, commission, agency, distribution, finance, or policy administration systems is highly advantageous.
• Proven ability to liaise effectively with both business users and technical teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Must be fluent in both written and verbal Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
• Experience working in Agile, or hybrid project environments.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, testing activities, and project documentation.

Preferred Background

• Insurance agency distribution or compensation domain knowledge.
• Experience with large-scale system enhancement, transformation, or revamp projects.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical solutions.
