Position Description

As Business Analyst / Project Manager, Compliance IT you will join the Corporate IT Delivery Team delivering strategic technology projects in Compliance.

This is a hands-on analytic and project management role. You will be expected to understand the domain topics, perform in-depth analysis and define solutions. You will also manage projects through the entire SDLC from project initiation to implementation into production environment.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

1. Liaise with Compliance stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and design technology solutions that support regulatory and operational objectives.
2. Conduct gap analysis, impact assessment, and feasibility studies on business requirements, and recommend aligned technology strategies.
3. Prepare and maintain business requirement documents, test scenarios, and user manuals.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Compliance, vendors, and internal IT teams to deliver technology solutions.
5. Participate in project planning, scope management, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful project delivery.
6. Develop, coordinate, and execute UAT plans, test cases, and defect management activities to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
7. QA Testing and ensure changes is rigorously tested before providing in UAT to users
8. Manage end-to-end project lifecycle activities from initiation, requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
9. Ensure solutions (either in-house or vendor) comply with CLSA standards and practices

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in IT, Business, or related disciplines.
2. 5–8 years of IT project experience in financial institutions, including minimum 3 years in BA/PM
3. Proven exposure to Compliance technology domains, including COB, AML, trade surveillance, regulatory reporting and other compliance areas
4. Working knowledge of SMARTS, LiquidMetrics, GoldTier, AxiomSL and ComplySci applications is a plus
5. Good understanding of front-to-back trading / settlement flows in Investment Bank is an advantage
6. Experience in data analysis is a plus
7. Detailed-oriented and self-motivated
8. Demonstrates a strong sense of accountability, ownership, and professional discipline
9. Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin
