Basic Purpose of Job:

Portfolio Administrators are responsible for all operational duties for a set of portfolios within an investment strategy. Portfolio Administrators work with internal and external groups to ensure accurate and timely delivery of data on each portfolio.

Responsibilities & Tasks Include:

• Demonstrates a strong understanding of Fixed Income products, Investment Management functions, and end-to-end operational workflows, with the ability to apply this knowledge effectively in day-to-day reconciliation and support activities.
• Perform daily cash and position reconciliations for Charles Revier application between Front Office and Middle office applications, ensuring outstanding exceptions are accurately identified, investigated, corrected, or escalated to the appropriate internal teams, onshore stakeholders, and concerned parties in a timely and controlled manner.
• Support Start of Day reconciliation activities by proactively identifying breaks, discrepancies, and data quality issues, and ensuring timely communication with relevant teams to facilitate correction of inaccurate data across APAC, EMEA, and North America regions.
• Assist in preparing and sending readiness communications to Portfolio Managers by clearly highlighting funds that are not ready for the day, enabling prompt visibility, faster follow-up, and improved decision-making for downstream teams.
• Consistently meet stated Service Level Expectations by maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and ownership of assigned deliverables, while collaborating effectively with team members, coordinating handovers, and supporting seamless continuity of operations.
• Possess the ability to work effectively within tight turnaround timelines, adapt to changing priorities, and remain flexible to support different shift requirements across APAC and North America regions while ensuring deliverables are completed within agreed deadlines.
• Demonstrate quick learning ability, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the capability to work independently with minimal guidance, while seeking timely support when required to ensure quality and consistency in execution.

Job Requirements:
Education and Experience

• MBA finance / B.com as an educational qualification.
• Knowledge of investment accounting.
• Pursuing any certification like CFA, FRM etc is an added advantage
• One plus years' Custody & Accounting experience on related investments is an added advantage.
• Flexible to all the shift timings

Skills/ Knowledge

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and accounting platforms; Smart stream and Bloomberg experience preferred but not required
• Strong analysis and problem resolution skills
• Motivated individual who possesses the ability to work in a fast paced environment
