• Hands on Senior Engineer with experience of working within high performance development teams

• Significant AWS Engineering experience implementing Amazon well architected frameworks , serve rless solutions and i mproving existing platforms using AWS technologies with Agile delivery methods

Validated Experience in below:

• Developing solutions with Python 3 , Python data management/manipulation libraries and usage of Python with AWS components
• Working in the Data domain , covering the full data pipeline from ingestion, mastering, management and consumption /distribution of large datasets
• Financial S ervices expertise preferred working with Equity and F ixed Income asset classes and a confirmed understanding of Indices
• No-SQL and Relational databases and data analysis using SQL.
• QA/Automation capabilities
• Integrating Automation scripts on Continuous Integration tools for automated regressions daily .
• A ll stages of the Software Development Process and Q uality A ssurance Li fe Cycle.
• Crafting Test Cases, Test Scenarios, Test Scripts and Test reports of functional and non-functional tests.
• Test Data Management .

Education & Work experience:

• 5 + years of AWS and Python development engineer experience within the Financial Services and Data domains

• Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or IT related field or equivalent IT related experience .

IT Skills

• Deep experience of AWS solutions incl. Step Functions, Glue, Lambda, RDS, ( e.g. DynamoDB, Aurora P ostgres), SQS, API Gateway, Athena

• Direct, proven e xperience of the deliver y and optimization of high - performance data pipelines

• Comfortable with d ata analysis and SQL

• Familiar with DevOps practises , implementation of infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform, usage of CI/CD pipelines for efficient and automated test and deployment processes

• Familiar with container technologies
