Media Strategy & Campaign Development

• Develop integrated media strategies that align with corporate marketing objectives and business priorities

• Oversee media planning across all channels (digital, social, display, video, traditional, out-of-home) •

Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform strategic recommendations

• Optimize media mix and channel allocation to maximize ROI and reach target audiences

Budget Oversight & Vendor Management

• Manage annual media budgets and expenditures

• Negotiate media buys and contracts with agencies and vendors

• Monitor spend allocation against approved budgets and adjust tactics as needed

• Evaluate vendor performance and manage agency relationships

Performance Analysis & Reporting

• Establish KPIs and develop measurement frameworks for media effectiveness

• Analyze campaign performance data and provide actionable insights

• Prepare regular reporting and dashboards for leadership review

• Present findings and recommendations to senior marketing stakeholders

Risk & Compliance Management

• Ensure all media placements comply with regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA, etc.)

• Monitor brand safety and ad quality standards across placements

• Manage third-party vendor compliance and contractual obligations

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Advertising, or related field

• 8+ years of progressive experience in media planning, buying, or marketing

• 3+ years of management or supervisory experience leading media professionals

• Proven track record of developing successful media strategies and optimizing campaign performance

• Demonstrated expertise in digital and traditional media channels • Experience managing budgets of $5M+ annually Preferred:

• MBA or advanced marketing certification • Experience in financial services, insurance, or corporate marketing environments

• Digital marketing certifications (Google, Facebook, IAB, or similar) • Experience with marketing analytics platforms and data visualization tools

• Background in brand strategy or strategic marketing planning

• Familiarity with multi-channel campaign management in large organizations
