Financial Controller, Pharma Start Up, Dublin

Our client are at an exciting phase in their journey, they are seeking to recruit their 1st hire in finance to create a robust finance structure and take full ownership of the function reporting directly to the founders. Intially working remotely this role will offer a huge amount of flexibility.

The Position

This is a high profile role at a pivotal time for the business and will grow along with the business. Reporting to the founders this is a hands on role initially with the scope to develop in line with their growth plans. Key areas of responsibility will include:

• Management of the day to day finances eg AP, AR, Payroll
• Preparation of financial accounts and analysis
• Implementing scalable finance structure
• Define finance processes and procedures across Europe
• Corporate finance activities including raising funding
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Cashflow management
• Tax and statutory returns
• Build and develop finance team
• Operational involvement

The Person:

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:

• Qualified Accountant with relevant experience
• VC Tech experince advantageous
• Strong technical skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong communicator
• Self-motivating and able to work on own initiative
