Financial Controller, Not for Profit, Dublin

The Company

Our client are a small team based in West Dublin who are currently seeking to appoint an experienced Financial Controller to lead the team. The organisation have ambitious plans to expand and grow over the next 3-5 years and there is a chance to progress in this role in line with their growth.

The Position :

Reporting to the Head of Finance this is a hands on role encompassing all areas of finance ensuring financial objectives are met. Duties will include:

• Lead and develop finance team
• Monthly management accounts preparation with analysis
• Preparation of annual statutory accounts
• Financial and commercial analysis analysis
• Tax and statutory returns
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Managing the audit process
• Monitor and Develop Financial Controls
• Review and improve finance policies, procedures and controls including IT system optimisation
• Project and ad-hoc work

The Person:

• Qualified accountant with 5 years PQE
• Similar experience in the not for profit sector desirable
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills/ability to prioritize work
• Good interpersonal skills
• Process orientated
• Ability to work in team environment
• Can do attitude
