Your area of work:

The Development & Configuration team is responsible for designing, configuring, and enhancing business applications and systems, ensuring that technology solutions effectively support business objectives and operational efficiency.

We are looking for a Functional Analyst to join our Development & Configuration team in Luxembourg. In this role, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into clear functional requirements and ensuring delivered solutions meet expectations.

Your responsibilities:

• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements through workshops, interviews, and process reviews
• Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and user stories
• Collaborate closely with development, configuration, and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Perform impact analysis on existing systems and processes for proposed changes
• Support UAT planning and execution, ensuring traceability between requirements and test cases
• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and IT teams
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and documentation standards

Your profile:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst or Business Analyst, ideally in financial services or post-trade environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience writing functional specifications and user stories
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban); additional Agile certifications or advanced knowledge are considered an asset
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence is an advantage
• Exposure to SQL and data analysis is beneficial
• Knowledge of the fund industry is a plus
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks relevant to Central Securities Depositories (CSDs) or financial market infrastructures is an asset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; French and/or German are a plus
