About The Department

UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub2) is a UOB-wholly owned subsidiary and a Centre of Excellence based in Malaysia, providing Group Business Services (GBS) to support the UOB Group. Started in 2021 with technology application design, development and support, InnoHub2 is expanding beyond technology services to deliver other business services to support the Bank's growth ambition. Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Developer for Core Banking, you will be responsible for collaborating, engaging, and working closely with stakeholders across the full lifecycle of projects and change requests - from inception, analysis, design, and development through testing, as well as pre- and post-deployment phases. The key objective is to ensure high-quality and seamless delivery of core banking enhancements, in full compliance with mandated frameworks and guidelines. Your work will focus on Core Banking - Investment and Wealth products (i.e., Insurance, Funds, Bonds, Unit Trusts, Structured Deposits, etc.).

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain .NET applications
• Analyze, design, and implement solutions related to Investment & Wealth platforms within the Core Banking system.
• Participate in solution design and technical discussions.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to ensure functional and technical requirements are met.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Support incident resolution, root cause analysis, and bug fixes for production issues.
• Ensure all deliverables follow security and compliance standards.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 6 years of software development experience using C# and Microsoft .NET technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience in .NET Framework, .NET Core/.NET 8+, ASP.NET Web API, RESTful API development, Entity Framework, LINQ, SQL Server, and Stored Procedures.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID Principles, Design Patterns, and Dependency Injection.
• Experience in application design, development, testing, implementation, production support, and documentation.
• Experience in code reviews, performance tuning, debugging, and root cause analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
