Responsible for managing investment portfolios, providing market insights, and ensuring that all investments align with our strategic asset allocation (SAA) and tactical asset allocation (TAA) guidelines. This role requires a deep understanding of financial markets, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
1. Continuously review and manage Company funds (capital, liquidity, general, unit linked) according to existing investment guidelines, ALM policy, solvency requirements and relevant regulation. This includes periodic review and enhancement of Investment Policy Statements for each type of fund specific to the Company's risk tolerances and goals. The Policy should include Investment Objectives and Strategy, Strategic and Tactical Asset Allocation, Benchmark, Risk Budget and Investment Universe.

2. Investment Marketing: Facilitate and run Investment marketing of the company by conducting investment roadshow in different branches of the company, Bancassurance sales, and Bancassurance partners, providing technical education about investment and insurance.

3. Research and propose new funds for unit linked products as well as new asset classes to enhance portfolio return subject to Company risk appetite. Ensure proper approvals are in place (i.e., Investment Committee, Insurance Commission).

4. Execute security trades in connection with the management of the portfolio and in compliance of trading guidelines, Delegated Authority Limits and Investment Policy;

5. Responsible in generating investment reports for the Board of Directors and Investment Committee

6. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product, sales, and align marketing strategies and initiatives with overall investment objectives. Provide strategic guidance and support for product development and training

7. Oversees and monitors external fund manager

8. Responsible in the strategic asset allocation review of the company for its general funds, as well as in the strategic business planning to plan on activities to achieve investment income targets for the year.
