For one of our clients, we are currently seeking an Specialist Tech Transfer (m/w/d) to join their team onsite in Luzern.
The Technology Transfer specialist will be a member of the Manufacturing Operations team, reporting to the Technology Transfer Lead. The successful candidate would be a responsible for supporting New Product Introduction, while also acting as a key contributor to the evolving site tech transfer strategy.

The Technology Transfer specialist will be a member of the Manufacturing Operations team, reporting to the Technology Transfer Lead. The successful candidate would be a responsible for supporting New Product Introduction, while also acting as a key contributor to the evolving site tech transfer strategy.
Responsibilities would primarily entail, but are not limited to, the following:
- Support Tech Transfer program development and execution.
- Prepare and manage GMP documentation (risk assessments, change controls, batch records, sampling plans, BOMs).
- Maintain and update data in digital systems (COMET SAP, MES, DeltaV).
- Coordinate new program introductions to ensure on-time, right-first-time delivery.
- Represent Tech Transfer in cross-functional teams and manage small to medium-complexity projects.
- Develop and support Tech Transfer documentation, process models, and best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement, process optimization, and knowledge management initiatives.
- Author and maintain BOMs, EBRs, gBMRs, SOPs, and WIs.
- Apply strong problem-solving skills and collaborate effectively within global, multidisciplinary teams.
- Foster innovation, continuous learning, and the development of future Tech Transfer solutions.
- Follow Safety, Health & Environment standards and promote a strong safety culture.
- Ensure the highest standards of quality, compliance, and safety.
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
- Degree in a relevant scientific or technical field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Strong understanding of mAb manufacturing unit operations and Tech Transfer/New Product Introduction principles.
- Basic project management knowledge with experience coordinating cross-functional projects.
- Proficiency in GMP documentation, including BOMs, batch records/sheets, change controls, and risk assessments.
- Experience with digital manufacturing and automation systems such as DeltaV, MES, SAP COMET, and eVal.
- Good knowledge of cGMP requirements and biologics manufacturing environments, ideally involving single-use technologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
- Professional English communication skills (minimum B1); German is an advantage.
Additional Information:
- Site-based role: 5 days per week, 40 hours weekly
- Long-term temporary contract: From 01/08/2026 to 31/07/2027
- Onsite presence required to fully support the team and operational activities in the greater Lucerne area
