Description

We are looking for a Bookkeeper to join our Brierley Hill office on a full time basis.



The successful candidate will have experience working across purchase and sales ledgers, performing bank reconciliations, submitting VAT returns, liaising with clients, and preparing management reports.




Key Responsibilities

• VAT Returns

• Making Tax Digital for Self-Assessment

• Bank Reconciliations

• Reconciling Balance Sheet Items

• Liaising with Clients

• General Bookkeeping

• Producing Management Reports




Key Requirements

• Previous experience in a bookkeeping role, ideally working with franchise, hospitality, retail, or multi-site businesses

• Experience managing purchase and sales ledgers, bank reconciliations and VAT returns

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied client portfolio

• Proficient with Excel

• Practice experience is desirable but not essential




Additional Requirements

Experience with cloud-based accounting software, particularly Sage
