Job Description
Visa is looking for an aspiring Software Engineer with a passion for innovation to join our Featurespace team. You will work on our industry-leading financial crime fighting technology, making the world a safer place to transact alongside our existing team of innovators and experts.
This is an exciting opportunity to tackle challenging, real-world projects that will utilise cutting-edge technology to help protect our customers and people around the globe from fraud and financial crime.
Examples of previous internship projects include:
Development of behavioural biometrics technology to detect imposter actions on websites.
Enhancing analytics testing capabilities, enabling users to make changes to fraud detection logic with confidence.

Successful candidates can demonstrate that they:
- Are a current university student graduating in 2028 and available for an 11-week internship starting in June or July 2027.
- Are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a STEM/technical field.
- Have a passion for Software Engineering and experience with at least one object-oriented programming language in an academic, personal, or professional context.
- Possess a positive attitude, are friendly to others, encourage cooperation, and demonstrate honesty and respect in the workplace.
- Are willing to develop payments industry knowledge and understanding to enhance solution quality.
- Default to a collaborative mindset, with the ability to empathise with colleagues and build strong relationships.
