Our client is a leading global institutional investor with a long-term approach to real estate investing across the UK and Europe. Backed by significant discretionary capital, the platform invests across direct assets, joint ventures, and funds, spanning multiple sectors and strategies. Due to continued growth within the European business, the firm is seeking to hire an Associate to join its London-based Real Estate investment team.

- Support the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of real estate investment opportunities across the UK and Europe.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of investment strategies across sectors and markets.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models to support underwriting, valuation, and investment analysis.
- Assist in the structuring, negotiation, and execution of acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, and other investment transactions.
- Prepare high-quality investment committee materials, presentations, and internal memoranda for senior stakeholders.
- Coordinate due diligence processes, including the review of commercial, financial, legal, and technical workstreams.
- Support the ongoing asset management of portfolio investments, with a focus on performance monitoring and value creation initiatives.
- Work closely with internal teams, operating partners, lenders, and external advisors throughout the investment lifecycle.
- Assist senior team members with market research, relationship management, and business development activities.
- Prepare timely portfolio analysis, reporting, and ad hoc materials for senior management and internal stakeholders.
- 2–4 years’ relevant experience within real estate private equity, real estate investment banking, advisory, or institutional real estate investing.
- Strong understanding of real estate investment structures, including equity investments, joint ventures, direct and indirect investments, and listed/private market exposure.
- Advanced financial modelling and analytical capabilities, with strong attention to detail and commercial judgement.
- Experience underwriting and executing transactions across the UK and/or European real estate markets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to operate effectively within a collaborative, fast-paced investment environment.
- High level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong academic background with a degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Fluency in English required; additional European language skills are advantageous.
