Company cultures & job summary



Our client is looking for a BIM Co-ordinator to support the development and delivery of digital and information management capability on a large scale infrastructure project.



You'll need solid BIM experience, a strong understanding of ISO 19650, and confidence working with Common Data Environments such as Asite DE.




Working Patterns and location - Hybrid - 2-3 days on site per week




Key responsibilities



• Develop, implement, and maintain a Project Information Management Framework aligned to industry best practices.



• Manage project data storage and sharing through Common Data Environments (CDEs) and appropriate digital platforms.



• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, and regulatory teams to standardise documentation and BIM practices.



• Define and align information requirements across OIR, PIR, AIR, and EIR levels to support a consistent information model.



• Manage document control workflows including versioning, metadata, approvals, and access control across the project lifecycle.



• Support onboarding of internal teams and supply chain partners onto project information systems and standards.



• Develop and deliver training materials and workshops to upskill teams on information management tools and standards.



• Drive continuous improvement by gathering stakeholder feedback and evolving information management practices accordingly.




Skills & experience



• Experience managing project information on complex engineering, construction, or infrastructure programmes.



• Strong working knowledge of ISO 19650 and BIM principles for design coordination across supply chains.



• Hands-on experience with Common Data Environments, preferably Asite CDE.



• Proficiency in design coordination tools such as Asite 3D Repo or equivalent platforms.



• Familiarity with DAMA-DMBOK disciplines including data governance, data architecture, metadata management, and data quality.



• Experience with information delivery planning tools such as Asite Playbook or similar solutions.



• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence multidisciplinary teams.



• Resilience and adaptability when working in fast-paced, ambiguous programme environments.




The client would also like to see some of the below, but this is not essential:



• Knowledge of nuclear industry standards and cybersecurity frameworks such as IAEA, ONR, or NRC.



• Experience with ISO 14001 and environmental data management frameworks.



• Experience supporting supply chain partners with digital onboarding and compliance alignment.



• Familiarity with cybersecurity and data protection principles as they apply to information lifecycle management.



• Certification in BIM, ISO 19650, DAMA-DMBOK, or CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional).



• Degree in Information Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
