Job Title: Cyber Security Project Manager

Location: UK (Remote)

Duration: 6 Month

Role:

As a Project Manager you will manage projects within a team aligned to cybersecurity, where you will build strong relationships with your security stakeholders, understanding their strategic direction, processes and requirements to become their trusted advisor on all elements of delivery. You will have both experience working in an agile environment with multiple stakeholders at varying levels of seniority and equally be able to adopt and adapt to traditional project management approaches as required, to support the business' objectives. You will be accountable for delivering your projects and their alignment with the agreed benefits through a value driven approach.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage assigned projects (software/products and/or infrastructure projects and/or services) and the production of relevant project deliverables and artefacts
  • Identify project risks and issues, escalating where appropriate, in a timely manner
  • Manage the expectations and satisfaction of the stakeholders
  • Implement effective Business Change Management techniques to ensure changes are successfully communicated, deployed and adopted across the firm
  • Implement effective change control by ensuring project change impacts are assessed and communicated so all parties are aligned
  • Ensure project resources and budgets are tracked and kept up to date
  • Develop and distribute timely status reporting with key metrics to appropriate stakeholders
  • Follow and align with the organisation's processes, governance framework and best practice
  • Manage, coach and motivate the project team
  • Communicate with openness, honesty and respect in all situations and be adept at conflict resolution and direction setting.

Professional Experience:
  • A track record of successfully delivering complex changes into challenging environments across multiple geographies
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, inspire confidence in business stakeholders and the team
  • Good commercial awareness and experience of managing budgets and resource utilisation
  • Very well organised and able to respond to changing priorities
  • Analytical and flexible with the ability to rapidly understand ambiguous and complex concepts
  • Ability to take and understand the commitment to deliver the project to time, cost & quality requirements through the use of tools, the value of metrics and incremental delivery.
  • Will have worked extensively with geographically distributed teams on and off-shore
  • Experience of cybersecurity projects and the deployment of solutions to improve the cybersecurity posture of the organization
  • Project management and security certification (PRINCE2, PRINCE2 Agile, CISSP, etc.)
