We are urgently seeking a FactSet SME / Configuration Consultant to support a leading asset management organisation in London.

The core requirement is deep FactSet expertise and the ability to configure the platform directly . You will work with business and technology stakeholders to understand requirements, implement configuration changes and ensure these meet business needs.

Key responsibilities

1. Deliver hands-on FactSet configuration , translating business requirements into practical system changes.
2. Review existing configurations and workflows, identifying improvements and resolving issues.
3. Work closely with business users to understand requirements and advise on configuration options.
4. Test and validate changes, supporting UAT and troubleshooting defects.
5. Document configuration decisions and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.
6. Liaise with FactSet support where required to resolve platform issues.

Essential experience

1. Strong expertise in FactSet , with demonstrable experience personally configuring the platform.
2. Ability to provide specific examples of FactSet configuration work delivered , including the modules involved and business outcomes.
3. Experience supporting FactSet within an asset or investment management environment .
4. Ability to work independently, investigate issues and deliver changes with minimal supervision.
5. Strong communication skills and experience working directly with business and technical stakeholders.
