The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a candidate to join the Northern Trust Asset Management (NTAM) International RFP team based in Canary Wharf, London. The International RFP team is responsible for the completion of RFP's, Due Diligence Questionnaires and other questionnaires or databases for investment consultants, prospects and clients as part of the new business process and client support for the EMEA and APAC regions.
The successful candidate will have over two years of Asset Management RFP experience, be highly motivated and able to demonstrate initiative, exceptional time management and organisational skills. With a desire to develop your career within Asset Management, this role would be particularly suited to an individual with previous RFP experience. Demonstrating an exceptional work ethic, the successful candidate will liaise closely with multiple departments and stakeholders throughout Northern Trust to co-ordinate and project manage requests whilst developing a thorough knowledge of the company's products, strategies, structure and unique selling points to add value to the RFP delivery process.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
Follow our established RFP processes to complete high calibre standard and non-standard RFPs, RFIs, Consultant Questionnaires and potentially DDQs.
The successful candidate need over two years Asset Management RFP experience and will benefit from having:

- Adding value to the RFP process using an understanding of regional/local client/prospect investment and regulatory requirements and completing the task within the stated timeframe.
- Create robust audit trails for reviewed content by Subject Matter Experts and critically review standard content for optimum quality.
- Work on multiple deadlines concurrently.
- Maintain and analyse metrics.
- Maintain the Qvidian database for the EMEA and APAC regions with an understanding of regional requirements and ability to use a critical eye to ensure quality is maintained and content stays fresh in a timely manner if and when required.
- Maintain Consultant Databases if and when required.
- Manage the process for business unit invoices.
- Assist RFP Manager and wider team with general ad-hoc requests.
The successful candidate need over two years Asset Management RFP experience and will benefit from having:
- A strong interest in general asset management topics.
- Analytical skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
- Proficiency with statistical information and ability to interpret financial data.
- Ability to demonstrate a sense of urgency and initiative when responding to short deadlines.
- Good interpersonal skills, with a professional demeanour and a team player approach.
- Excellent organisation skills, able to manage multiple tasks at once.
