About the role



In this role, you'll:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for a variety of fund clients.


• Develop an understanding of client structures and transactions, seeking guidance and feedback to support your development.


• Assist in the preparation of management accounts, financial statements and other financial reporting deliverables.


• Collate information and documentation required by auditors.


• Build effective working relationships with clients, auditors and third-party service providers.


• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure client expectations and reporting deadlines are met.


• Support the resolution of accounting queries, providing information and explanations where required.


• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with the firm's policies, procedures and quality standards.

About you - essential requirements

• An interest in accounting and financial services, with a desire to study towards a relevant professional qualification.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.


• A collaborative approach and ability to work effectively as part of a team.


• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.


• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.


• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.


• Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills, with an aptitude for working with financial data.


• A positive, proactive and flexible approach, with a genuine desire to learn and develop.
