Job: Legal Cashier

We're looking for an experienced Legal Cashier who has worked within a law firm and has a strong understanding of the Solicitors Accounts Rules (SRA).

The Role

You'll support the day-to-day cashiering function, including:

• Processing receipts, payments and transfers accurately and efficiently.
• Office and client account reconciliations.
• Monitoring balances and returning funds where required.
• Managing cheques and office account queries.
• Ensuring transactions comply with SRA requirements and reporting any breaches.
• Supporting the Cashier Manager and wider Finance team, including month-end.
• Providing cross-cover during busy periods and absences.

What We're Looking For

• Previous Legal Cashier experience within a law firm.
• Good knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules (SRA).
• Strong Excel/Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisation.
• Confident communicator who can work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
