Our Financial Services client is seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join their Information Security team in Hong Kong. This is a backfill position for a long-standing team member and offers an opportunity to work closely with the Security Manager on security engineering initiatives, solution evaluations, and enterprise security implementations.
The successful person will be responsible for designing, evaluating, implementing, and supporting security technologies across the organization, with a strong focus on proof-of-concepts (POCs), onboarding new security solutions, and maintaining existing security controls.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Security Manager to evaluate, design, and conduct security proof-of-concepts (POCs).
- Lead security solution onboarding, implementation, and deployment activities.
- Configure, integrate, and optimize security platforms across the organization.
- Monitor and support security operations, including incident handling and policy management.
- Manage application whitelisting processes and controls.
- Support and maintain Zscaler security services and respond to incidents during APAC business hours.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams, including stakeholders in Beijing headquarters.
