We are working with a leading global investment management firm to appoint an Event Manager (AVP) into its EMEA marketing team. With a significant presence across institutional and intermediary markets, the business delivers a broad programme of events designed to support client engagement, brand visibility and commercial growth across the region.

This is a highly visible role responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of events across the EMEA market. Working closely with sales, investment, marketing and external partners, you will take ownership of event delivery from planning through to execution, ensuring a consistently high-quality experience for clients and stakeholders.

The opportunity would suit an experienced event professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing complex projects, senior stakeholder relationships and multiple concurrent events.

The successful candidate will be involved in:

• Managing the end-to-end delivery of conferences, seminars, client events and webinar programmes across EMEA
• Overseeing all event logistics, supplier management and operational execution to ensure successful outcomes
• Negotiating contracts and managing relationships with venues, agencies and external vendors
• Delivering engaging in-person and virtual experiences tailored to a range of client audiences
• Working closely with sales, marketing and investment teams to align event activity with business priorities
• Managing delegate communications, event registration processes and attendee engagement initiatives
• Monitoring event performance through attendance, engagement and ROI metrics
• Producing regular reporting and insights to support future planning and continuous improvement
• Managing event budgets, reconciliations and financial tracking across multiple programmes
• Collaborating with brand and marketing teams to ensure a consistent client experience across all touchpoints
• Supporting the development of event collateral, merchandise and client engagement materials
• Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders across different regions and business functions

The ideal candidate should have:

• Previous event management experience, ideally gained within financial services or another professional services environment
• Proven experience delivering a broad range of in-person, virtual and hybrid events
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Experience managing budgets, supplier contracts and event logistics
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and confidence working with senior professionals
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure event effectiveness and report on outcomes
• Experience using event management and CRM platforms such as Cvent and Salesforce
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively across international teams and multiple jurisdictions
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
